The Ansmann rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery is a direct replacement for the Sony Type NP FT 1. The power output of the battery is 3.7v 650 mAh and offers equivalent power of the official battery at a snip of the original price. Lithium Ion batteries have no memory effect and therefore do not need to be discharged. Lithium cells generally hold the initial charge and can be left for weeks before needing a recharge.
