Using the latest sensor technology, the F500/F550/F600EXR incorporates the new 16 mega-pixel EXR-CMOS sensor to give outstanding image quality and superb performance in low light conditions. The quick response of the sensor means focus confirmation and image capture is very high allowing you to catch those hard-to-get shots. The WP-FXF500 underwater housing allows full control of the camera with all functions easily accessible.

This polycarbonate constructed underwater case is waterproof up to a depth of 40m (120 ft).

** The F-number and shutter speed cannot be changed while the camera is in the waterproof case. It is recommended to use the AUTO, EXR AUTO, or P PROGRAM AE mode with underwater mode when using waterproof case. When you want to use the A, S or M mode to use an external flash, please preset the value before using the waterproof case.

The housing has started to show signs of fracture on the back door on only the second outing. And no it has not been subject to abuse, looked after very carfully. The markings on the Mode Dial are also starting to ware off from the friction pad on the housing door too. Nowhere near as good a quality product as earlier Fuji Camera / housing combinations.
