The KATA Banana-2 is a professional photographer's roomy shoulder bag and a heavy-duty production case built to hold lots of equipment -- large and small. A unique (patent-pending) contoured shape that keeps the weight close to your body makes it easier to carry. Carrying options for the Banana-2 include a shoulder strap, KATA's unique patented interlocking handles or two side grips. The Banana-2 is designed so that its opening faces toward your body when carrying the bag on your shoulder, allowing you to easily view of its contents and access your gear.
Thick padding and reinforcing, with plastic boards and aluminum staves, protect your equipment. KATA's Modi-Vers modular divider system enables customizing the bag to your specific needs. The main compartment and the external and internal pockets will store 2-3 digital SLR bodies with their lenses attached, 4-6 additional lenses and many more accessories, from small media cards to a field tripod.

Side Lift Handles
Ergonomically designed lift handles on both sides fit the contour of your hand and angle forward to allow you to lift the Banana-2 higher and hold the bag closer to your body. Especially useful when climbing steps.
Toblerone Shock Absorbers
Made from synthetic thermo-rubber, this uniquely designed feature absorbs shocks and protects the case from abrasion, dirt, mud and standing water.
"Yelloop" Interior With Modi-Vers Divider System Option
Like most KATA products, the Banana-2 is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease. Internal dividers are included and, if needed, Modi-Vers dividers kits are available, enabling you to create compartments inside the case that meet your exact requirements.
Six Layers of Protection

Dual-Purpose Buckle
The shoulder strap attaches to the bag via this rugged yet lightweight buckle, which accepts either a quick-release hook or the strap itself. Either option ensures that the strap will cross the shoulder at the optimal ergonomic angle to provide comfort and stability.
Insertrolley Optional Accessory
The simple yet ingenious Insertrolley System can be used with many Kata cases. It allows you to either use the trolley separately or with more than one case. Simply slide the trolley through the sleeve on the cases for secure and easy mobility. You can detach the trolley when you want to store it and easily replace it if damaged. Patented extendable wheel system helps to better stabilize larger cases.
APSS - Advanced Padded Shoulder Strap
KATA's Patented shoulder strap is constructed from 5 layers, thermo molded to the desired shape and softness. The special dot fabric stabilizes the strap on the shoulder. On one shoulder or across the chest, the double-sided APSS has a unique curved shape that prevents it from digging into the wearer's neck while offering optimal weight distribution. The strap comes with two snap-hooks, which can easily be connected to any case.
